Patriot Oil Mills Corp. Selects Topsoe for Renewable-Fuels Design and Permitting Phase

Patriot Oil Mills Corp. is working with Topsoe during the design and permitting phase of its proposed renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel facility.

Topsoe’s renewable-fuels technology platform is being incorporated into the project’s engineering basis as Patriot advances process design, environmental review, permitting, feedstock integration and project execution planning.

The plant is being developed around a vertically integrated operating model. Canola seed will be sourced from the surrounding agricultural region, processed through an advanced canola-crushing facility and converted into renewable-fuel feedstock. The project’s design is intended to support approximately 3,000 barrels per day of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel production, subject to final engineering, permitting and construction decisions.

Working with Topsoe provides Patriot Oil Mills with access to proven renewable-fuels engineering and process expertise as the company develops a facility designed for reliability, feedstock flexibility and progressively lower lifecycle carbon intensity.
